A view of Turleigh in a photograph taken by the Phoenix Studio, Bradford on Avon in about 1905

The Turleigh tollbar on the Bradford to Winsley turnpike road. The gate is open on the left, just past the man leaning on a wall. The photograph was probably taken after 1883 when the tolls had been abolished.

A snowy scene of the Kennet & Avon Canal at Elbow Bridge, below Turleigh in about 1980. The canal was in process of restoration and this stretch had been lined with reinforced concrete, but was yet to be refilled with water.
