An old farm horse-drawn wagon on display in the Tithe Barn, Barton Farm, probably in the 1950s. A collection of old farm equipment had built up in the barn, but was later dispersed. Another such collection occupied part of the barn in the 1990s, but none of the articles was local and it moved to another location.

Another haymaking scene, this time in a field off Trowbridge Road, where Fitzmaurice Junior School now stands. The Uncles engineering works used the field to demonstrate machinery.

Barton Farm in the early part of the 20th century when it was still a working farm. Two of the medieval buildings of the complex can be seen: the Granary on the left and huge Tithe Barn in the background. There are many more trees on the hill behind today.
