Trustees and volunteers enjoying our Income Generation workshop
Trustees and volunteers enjoying our Income Generation workshop

We are currently recruiting for more volunteers

Bradford on Avon Museum is a wonderful, small museum, telling the story of Bradford on Avon and the surrounding villages. Our collection includes geology, archaeology, fine art, social history, and trades and industry, including a complete pharmacy. We are entirely volunteer-run, but thanks to our fantastic volunteers, we are open five days a week from mid-January to the end of November, welcoming thousands of visitors, including the many tourists who visit the town from all over the world. For our local community, we run a very successful talks programme, have published almost 30 booklets on aspects of our local history, and have an active research group. We are proud to be an Accredited museum.

We are currently looking for more people to join our volunteer team and help us continue to thrive. If you have skills or an interest in any of the roles below, please do get in touch with Kate Turnbull, Chair of Trustees at turnbullke@gmail.com for more information and an informal chat. Please also contact Kate if you have another skill you think we could make use of – we’d love to hear from you.
