Antiques Road Trip

On Thursday 18th July a team from STV spent an entire morning filming in Bradford on Avon Museum’s chemist shop. This was for a piece that will be included in a programme in a forthcoming new series of the BBC television series “Antiques Road Trip“, which is a spin-off from the venerable and well-known “Antiques Road Show”.
Museum Trustee Ivor Slocombe did a wonderful job as our representative, explaining to presenter James Braxton how the old shop would have functioned and teaching him how to make pills. The morning’s shooting will be edited into just 4½ minutes, so much of it will end on the proverbial cutting-room floor!
The programme will be aired in January; we will let you know a more precise time when we find out. Watch this website for more information.
