Exhibition: WWI trench warfare
Saturday 28th May, 10am – 4pm
Following on from our talk on WWI archaeology (26th May), and the exhibition of St Laurence School students WWI trench models (6th – 27th May), we are delighted to announce that Steve Williams, an expert on WWI trench warfare will be giving an exhibition and presentations on Saturday 28th May.
Steve will give two talks, at 10.30am and 2pm, each lasting an hour.
‘Tommy’s Tea shop’ will be serving Tea from tin mugs with Anzac biscuits for £1 throughout the day.
People are invited to bring in photos and artefacts relating to WWI for Steve to identify. There will be a chance to dress in authentic uniforms. Weapons will be on display.
