Talk: Science in Everyday Life

Renowned science communicator, Dr Len Fisher will give the May 20216 talk on Science in Everyday Life: from dunking biscuits to coping with Artificial Intelligence.

Dr Fisher rose to fame when he earned a spoof IgNobel Prize by using physics to work out how best to dunk a biscuit. His latest book on science in everyday life examines the impact of AI on our control over our own decisions.

This is the second talk in the joint Bradford on Avon Museum / Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust 2026 talks programme.
