Winter closing 2013-2014

.

The Christopher Pharmacy - Within the MuseumMonday 2nd December will be the last day that the Museum will be open in 2013, before going into its brief period of hibernation.

Normally, it would have closed on the last day of November, but this year it will continue to be open for another two days, including an unusual Monday, until the run of our exhibition “A Land Through Time”  ends. The exhibition centres around what we have learnt from our Lottery-funded “Ancient Landscapes” LiDAR survey and begins on Saturday 23rd November.

We will open again in the New Year at 2pm on Wednesday 15th January 2014. In the intervening period we will be doing the usual sprucing up -dusting, cleaning, painting, replacing worn labels- and we will be making a few changes to the displays. Some time will also be taken for some well-deserved festivities! Make a New Year resolution to come and visit the Museum, become a member of the Museum Society and perhaps sign on as one of our invaluable team of Volunteer Stewards.
